I've been using this seatpost in my Kona frame which is mounted on a Tacx indoor trainer. This morning, 20 miles into a 60 mile ride, the seatpost broke at the clamp area (see photo). I fell backwards onto the floor (lots of pain) and a few hours later (5) still have mid abdomen and mid back pains. We bought two of these posts, do I really want to let my wife continue using the other. Or should I just bin it? By the way, my weight is 90Kg. Also, Amazon don't want to know, or rather their system doesn't cater for this sort of scenario with a product they sell.

Die Sattelstütze an sich ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Jedoch ist mir nach endloser Suche nach einem Knarzgeräusch, wovon ich vorerst ausgegangen bin es kommt vom Tretlager , Kettenblatt , Kurbel, Pedale oder Dämpfer und alles demontiert, gereinigt und gefettet habe, dass es tatsächlich von der Sattelstütze kommt. Nach einer gründlichen Reinigung aller Kontaktstellen und Verwendung von Fett war erstmal Ruhe. Jedoch kommt dieses Knarzgeräusch immer und immer wieder. Vermutlich hat sie irgendwo ein Haarriss oder verspannte Schraube. Ich werde die Sattelstütze zurück schicken, da man sich denken kann wie nervig so ein Knarzgeräusch ist.
