Very happy with the crank arms, however I had to replace the bottom bracket immediately as the one supplied was incredibly loud (creaky).

Not happy at all. £59 i paid and after 1 day yes thats right 1 day of having it fitted to my mountain bike it has started creaking as if the bearings are gone. Wouldnt recommend.

So having had this bottom bracket and crank for less than a year its just gone and failed on me. The crank itself is fine. However the poor quality of the bottom bracket didn't hold up to daily use.

I brought these crankset because I converted my 2x9 bike to 1x9 and I wanted to do it on a budget. These are really good set very light and strong The only problem the bottom bracket bearing is not quite smooth hence the cheap price but in future I could always upgrade. I would definitely recommend these crankset

I bought this to convert my daughter's bike to 1x9 and replace the heavy low spec crankset that bike makers seem to think it is OK to put on children's bikes. The quality of the axle and BB seems to be right there with Shimano Deore level components. The only thing to note over Shimano is that there is no RH arm retention claw and hole in the axle. Likewise for the weight, in fact the only difference I could see was that the paint/surface treatment was not quite as good and the 170mm arm looked unnecessarily long - like a 172.5 but with the pedal thread moved 2.5mm back up the arm. Also the shaping of the arm at the pedal spindle was a little chunky. But these are really minor criticisms because all the key points look good. Also comes with the centre cap tool - unlike Shimano where you have to buy it separately. Standard Shimano BB30 spanner fits the BB supplied.
