Got this to raise up my handlebar so I could ride in a more upright position. Worked perfect for that although I couldn’t use all the little lengtheners as I didn’t have enough length on my cables. Make sure u measure maximum length you could go with your brake cables, shifter cables. Otherwise it only took 10 minutes to install. Works great. Nice solid construction! No problems so far.

Like most people, I had no idea that there are cruiser bikes and sports bikes. I naively assumed all you do is adjust your seat and go. Turns out, with a sports bike there is no way to raise the bar! This means you will be riding in a hunched over position which will put a lot of pressure on your wrists and, even worse, force you to lift your head up if you want to look ahead and not down. This will kill your neck in minutes. Apparently, this is exactly what you need if you are a competitive bike racer and want to be in a hunched over position to reduce wind resistance. But for the regular folks, we want to be sitting upright. This stem extension solved the problem. Riding a bike has become enjoyable again. I can look around me and enjoy the views. My neck and my wrists don’t hurt.
